Cheng Gong, Studio Director China at Snøhetta, is invited to speak at the CTBUH 2025 China Conference on November 20, organized by The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH).

The theme of this year's conference is “Transforming High-Density Cities Toward Sustainable Development". Cities are far more than a physical aggregation of buildings and a network of infrastructure—they are tangible expressions of cultural and social systems. Shifts in demographic and economic structures present both challenges and opportunities for urban development. The conference will explore how integrated strategies across social, ecological, and economic dimensions can shape livable cities that grow sustainably for the future.

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) is the world's leading authority dedicated to high-rise buildings and future cities, focusing on concepts, design, construction, and operations. Established in 1969 as a non-profit organization, CTBUH is headquartered in Chicago and maintains its Asia headquarters at Tongji University in Shanghai. Through publications, research, conferences, working groups, and online resources, CTBUH facilitates the global exchange of the latest knowledge and insights on tall buildings and urban development.
