Since it´s inception, Snøhetta has demonstrated that architecture and design can make a significant contribution to social and environmental sustainability. A special focus on sustainability has always been a core principle of our work.

In his keynote Patrick Lüth, Snøhetta Partner and Managing Director of the Innsbruck Studio, will share insights into Snøhetta’s approach guided by social and environmental sensitivity and will give an overview on of current Snøhetta projects that create high quality spaces for people while also reducing our environmental footprint. He will introduce the Powerhouse concept and present projects such as the naturally ventilated high-rise Vertikal Nydalen in Oslo and the timber office building for ASI Reisen in Natters near Innsbruck.

The broad considerations on sustainable and regenerative architecture will be followed by an inspiring exchange. Patrick will discuss what is required for sustainable and regenerative construction with Andreas Hofer, artistic director of IBA’27 in the Stuttgart Region, and Margit Sichrovsky, founding partner of LXSY Architektur and professor at Stuttgart Technical University of Applied Sciences.

The event will be held in German and moderated by Thomas Geuder, Der Raumjournalist.
