The project is part of the creation of an entirely new residential area in Tbilisi, Georgia. Snøhetta is collaborating with developer PlaceMakers and operator Salt to establish a social hub at the heart of this new district.

Its architectural concept draws inspiration from two defining elements of the region: the historic courtyards of Tbilisi, which embody openness and social interaction, and the soft, organic lines of Lisi Lake, reflected in the building’s fluid forms and gentle transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The Lake House serves as a vibrant hub for residents and visitors, offering flexible spaces for gatherings, workshops, and leisure activities. By blending tradition with modernity, it creates a harmonious dialogue between the city’s architectural heritage and the natural beauty of its surroundings.
