Introduction
When launching the Bokhus Shelving system at the Milan Design Week, we wanted to explore how we could use ChatGPT as a tool for our creative prosess. Drawing inspiration from Raymond Queneau’s Exercises in Style from 1947, the installation explores ChatGPT’s ability to generate specific literary expressions of Bokhus and the world surrounding it.
The digital installation, “Boundless Shelves”, showcases AI generated conversations on monitors integrated into Bokhus shelving system, highlighting how new technology can help create, share, and store knowledge in the future - accommodating the modern library.
