Snøhetta reinvents office space for Good Finance

Snøhetta’s design for Good Finance’s Taichung office expresses the firm’s vision of reshaping financial culture into one that is open, inclusive, and people‑centered.

Selected as the winning proposal in an invited competition in 2022, the project called for a complete rethinking of the traditional financial consultancy office. The resulting design places collaboration and dialogue at the forefront, offering an environment that feels both inviting and purposeful. Across its 800 sqm layout, the office strikes a thoughtful balance between transparency and privacy, creating spaces that support free exchange while maintaining the discipline and professionalism essential to the industry.

Visitors enter through an intentionally choreographed sequence—a long, linear corridor that leads to the heart of the project: a central forum designed for learning, sharing, and gathering. This multifunctional space anchors the flexible workplace around it, evoking the energy and openness of an urban plaza or neighborhood park, and setting a new standard for how financial workplaces can feel and function.
